About the Role

As an Engineer – RF SW, you will work on software development and validation for Qualcomm's Modem-RF Wireless chipsets.

The Modem-RF Software Team develops drivers for Modem-RF transceivers and works closely with RF Hardware, Modem/Baseband, and RF ASIC teams. The role also involves developing and optimizing algorithms and software modules for modem and RF transceivers, antenna/RF front-end systems, and wireless communication performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and validate software for Qualcomm's Modem-RF Wireless chipsets.
• Develop drivers for Modem-RF transceivers.
• Collaborate with RF Hardware, Modem/Baseband, and RF ASIC teams.
• Create, develop, and optimize modem and RF transceiver algorithms and software modules.
• Work on software modules related to Antenna/RF Front End systems.
• Support improvements in system performance, factory yields, and RF testability.
• Provide Modem-RF driver expertise for investigating complex RF and modem issues.
• Work in cross-functional hardware and software environments.
• Collaborate with physical layer teams to deliver new wireless features.
