Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must possess:

• B.E./B.Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, or Industrial Engineering

Roles & Responsibilities

Selected candidates will be responsible for:

• Supporting value-added and non-value-added activity studies on production lines
• Conducting time studies and motion analysis using spaghetti charts
• Performing product assembly simulations for global and local projects
• Analyzing complex assembly kinematics, dynamic simulations, clash analysis, and proximity studies
• Conducting ergonomic assembly simulations as per Volvo standards
• Presenting simulation findings and recommendations to stakeholders
• Preparing virtual and material data for virtual reviews, including scenes, sequences, and animations
• Performing proactive DMU quality checks and ensuring digital product data quality
• Coordinating with tooling and equipment engineers across global Volvo factories
• Managing and documenting virtual CAD data within the Global Tooling Repository (GTR)
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing efficiency and quality
